New Journals

The caterpillar stitch is just decorative and I popped in some eyelets ;)

I made a couple of journals yesterday. A couple of my friends came by and it was so lovely to create together. I will post their journals soon.

New Journal ****Update****

Thank you, Gillian, for your RAK!!!! You have inspired me to finish my journal. Gillian sent me the most gorgeous ATC along with some rusty pen nibs, a beautiful button, a pin and a great big metal key. Please check out Gillian's blog for the most gorgeous artwork and the goodies from her Etsy shop, too!
I have been uninspired lately and lacking motivation- (I have had a very busy time at work), but thanks to my wonderful friends, I feel like creating again. I have also just applied to start a new course, (externally), and so that together with working full time, as well as being a wife and mum, has me a little busy. I will try to blog regularly and find time to create a little, too.

Journal Class

I had such a lovely afternoon teaching journal making to some of my colleagues. I don't have photos of the finished products as yet, but as soon as I get some I will post them.

Duma Key

I finished reading Duma Key and it is a fabulous book. Stephen King always manages to weave such powerful images in his narratives. It was really hard to stop reading but I had to because the book was finished.

Simple Journal

Nothing much to share except for a simple hand-bound journal that has been embellished with a Pepsi Max cool drink can (that was Cuttlebugged).

Jewellery Class

Jewellery Class

I ran my first jewellery class today. The ladies made some beautiful pieces and it was a lovely afternoon.

New Journal

I made a hand-bound journal last night for a friend. I used some suede to cover the journal, diet-coke can and a microscope slide for the front cover. I love my Cuttlebug! I wanted to get a sea feel with the shapes and patterns. Thanks for looking. xxxx

James and some crays
Happy Mother's Day to all the mums. I hope you all had a great day. My family treated me to a beautiful cooked breakfast which was just lovely. At lunch time I made my way to Nikkis with a few the other mums to have one of the best meals- crispy chicken salad, roast pork with all the trimmings followed by sticky date pudding. Thank goodness I walked home.
Any way, John and James went fishing yesterday. My goodness- bluebone and crays cooked in garlic butter for dinner!!!! I am living high on the hog. LOL
