Thank You Shelly

Thank you so much Shelly for nominating me for a Proximidade award. I feel really honoured and so lucky to have made such lovely friends through art.

The details of the award are as follows:
"These blogs invest and believe in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

Have a look at these beautiful blogs for inspiration.

In The Sky Tonight!

Just went for a walk tonight and looked up to see Jupiter and Venus with the moon looking like a sweet, smiling face. So beautiful!(The moon looks a like an O in the pic because of the timer delay).

Starry, starry night...

The peeled paper technique is something I've been wanting to try, so I had a go. I added some melted sealing wax, cuttlebug borders and fabric.

Diamond X Binding

I made a Diamond X Journal today.

Invoke

Invoke- I stamped straight onto the matt board and embossed using seafoam white embossing powder. I used Collections window elements for the frames which I inked with spiced marmalade and peeled paint and then stitched. I also used the cuttlebug, (my favourite), for the corners.

New Links and Journal

I added some new links to the favourite blogs section.

Rein has fantastic ATC's, cards and some great free images too. It is a beautiful place to visit.

One Of Life's Little Moments is a wonderful site by Sonya, full of beautiful scrapbooking treasures.

Fragments is a cool blog by Sarah- The Terminator. She shares her fishing exploits and other adventures.

Aquatic Arts is a blog by the Dolly who loves creating all sorts of things.

Blue Bazaar is a FANTASTIC online shop with a wide selection of items at terrific prices and excellent service.

I have nearly finished my journal for a course I'm doing. I used Japanese stab binding to hold it together. The covers are suede and I used some grunge board and the Cuttlebug diecuts and embossing folders as embellishments.

Now off to finish my major writing assignment. xxxx

Halloween Cards by the Dolly and an ATC...

Cards made by the Dolly for Halloween.

Immortal-(Dorian Gray played by Stuart Townsend in the League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Love that movie!)

Used tissue paper technique again. Now I'm really going to finish my work.

Little Shrine

I thought I'd try a few different colours this time. Normally, I always use green in whatever I create, but this time I thought I'd go cream.

The major writing assignment I was working on and had just about finished, (2800 words), got wiped off the computer a couple of days ago. I have rewritten most of it...but I had better go finish the rest. Have a beautiful Sunday!!!
