Gothic Arch -Hats

 

This Gothic Arch was really hard to get together and it may yet change. It has been sitting on my desk for about a week! It has a cuttle bug background and a domino embellishment with a little arch border. This stamp is a bit weird as one of the people looks like my grandmother who passed away when I was three. I have had this stamp for a really long time and never really used it as it isn't the sort of stamp I would normally buy. When I saw the image, I knew I had to get it. I though it be one of those things where after a while, you think-what what I thinking? This looks nothing like..whoever..But every time I look at it, the feeling gets stronger. Weird!!

I had a wonderful time at the Kimberley Writers Festival  today and yesterday. I was able to participate in a workshop by Marlish Glorie and I was able to attend lectures by Susan Moylan Coombes, Kia Dowell and Hetty Velrolme. Andy Wright was fantastic, too, as he is a professional storyteller. Michael Salmon gave a great lecture about capturing the audience's attention. Although it was a very full weekend with a wonderful family concert last night with Wyndham group, Northern Hum, Peter Brandy and Neil Murray, I feel inspired to continue to write. I truly feel so lucky to live where I do.
