Good News and Award

I received some wonderful news today about my Dad. He was diagnosed with cancer at the end of last year and has been through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Then there was the waiting.....
Today my Dad was given the all clear !!! Whoo hoo!!!


I was so surprised to get such a wonderful award from such a talented and creative artist.
Thank you so much, Belinda, for nominating me for this award. I feel so honoured.

John, James and the Terminator caught these today!

We're back - again!

We just got back from a teachers' conference in Perth for remote schools in the Pilbara. I met some amazing people who are doing it tough! The conference was very interesting- but Perth was FREEZING!!!
A big thank you to our wonderful families for looking after the Terminator and the Dolly while we were at work. They had the best time!!!!
The ride on the plane from Perth to Karratha was interesting. A bird hit the plane and we had to go back to Perth, where the plane was fully inspected and refueled- adding an hour and a half to our journey. By the time we got home to our town, which is three hours away from Karratha, and unpacked our car... well, let's just say it's quiet here tonight.

A bit Bolly

I had a go at scrapping today. I went a bit Bollywood although my intention was to stick to neutrals like creams and browns. Oh well, here it is. I used the Collections small book and some Cuttlebug dies as well as the Delish frames. It also has some bells!
