Art Shrine

Here is an art shrine I made today while we had a yellow alert on. Thanks to everyone for sending their best wishes to us. We are all okay.

Detail
Work in progress. I'm not sure what it's going to turn into yet.
I used a piece of gauze type fabric in turquoise/aqua tones shot with gold to back the microscope slides. Kelsey O'Mullane generously gave me this lovely material when I attended one of her ATC classes at Scraptivate. This shop is absolutley jam packed with the most beautiful items. It is full of lovely samples to inspire you as well. There are some fabulous classes coming up at Scraptivate and I feel very jealous of all you guys who can attend in Perth.

  1. Hi Sam! Wow, I love your work (and your blog).

How are you all faring down there? We think it's darn stormy up here and we've had the all clear since last night. We're thinking of you all and hoping you are safe.

    Mandi (and the gang) xx

  2. Thank you so much, Mandi!!

We are fine and just keeping indoors. It is quite stormy outside. This cyclone seems to be moving very slowly.

I love your blog- very yummy.

    Sam xx
