More Soap!

I have been experimenting with the process of soapmaking and properties of oils and fragrances (and glitter)-while trying not to burn myself!
Here are some of the pieces I've made-they smell great-but they don't look perfect at all! The fragrances are variations of Patchouli, Rose, Orange, Arabian, and Sandlewood. These need a little clean up.

First Candle!

I had a go at making my first candle today! I was going through so many candles so I thought I would try making my own. I'm so glad I did-it's so much fun! It's a soy candle scented with Chanel No.5:)

Soap!

I went to a soapmaking workshop on Saturday and I made my first batch of patchoulli and rose scented soap.
I also got an opportunity to make some lovely transluscent soap which is a deep rose colour with a gold shimmer  and peach scented.

Brass Book- A Work in Progress

I have had a lot of fun etching-after so long. I'm trying to finish the book I started at Jen Crossley's workshop. It's been great to experiment with this technique again. It did made me think of the lovely Annette Husband.

Heart Brooch

Here is the brooch I started in Jen Crossley's workshop from last week. I had such an amazing time at the camp and learnt so much. Thank you Jen!
